International Home Furnishings

International Home Furnishings (IHF) is a premier venue for the home furnishings industry, located in the heart of High Point, North Carolina, USA. IHF is part of the High Point Market, the largest home furnishings trade show in the world, which attracts tens of thousands of visitors from more than 100 countries twice a year, in spring and fall1. IHF offers an unparalleled selection of exhibitors spanning every category, style, and price point, covering 3.5 million square feet of showroom space.

IHF was established in 1991 by the merger of three existing buildings the International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC), the Market Square Complex, and the Showplace. The merger created a unified venue that could accommodate more exhibitors and visitors, and provide more convenience and amenities. IHF is owned and operated by International Market Centers (IMC), the world’s largest operator of premier showroom space for furniture, gift, home décor, rug, and apparel industries. IMC also owns and operates other venues in High Point, as well as in Las Vegas and Atlanta.

IHF consists of four main buildings: IHFC, Market Square & Suites, Showplace, and Furniture Plaza. Each building has its own distinctive features and offerings:

IHFC: IHFC is the flagship building of IHF, and the largest of its kind in the world. It has 12 floors of showrooms featuring more than 500 exhibitors of furniture, lighting, rugs, wall art, mattresses, bedding, and more. It also has three pavilions that showcase international exhibitors from countries such as China, Brazil, India, Vietnam, and Indonesia. IHFC is home to some of the most prestigious brands and designers in the industry, such as Baker Furniture, Bernhardt Furniture Company, Century Furniture, Christopher Guy, Hickory Chair Company, Jonathan Adler, Ralph Lauren Home, Tommy Bahama Home, and many more.

Market Square & Suites: Market Square & Suites is a historic building that was once a furniture factory. It has been renovated and expanded to house more than 300 exhibitors of home décor, textiles, accessories, antiques, and vintage products. It also has a dedicated floor for rugs, featuring some of the finest hand-knotted and machine-made rugs from around the world. Market Square & Suites is known for its eclectic mix of styles and products, ranging from traditional to contemporary, from classic to quirky. Some of the notable exhibitors include Aidan Gray Home, Annie Selke Companies, Arteriors Home, Currey & Company, Dash & Albert Rug Company, Global Views, Loloi Rugs, Nourison Industries Inc., and many more.

Showplace: Showplace is a modern building that features more than 450 exhibitors of furniture and home accessories for every room in the house. It has four floors of showrooms that display a variety of products such as sofas, chairs, tables, beds, dressers, cabinets, desks, lamps, mirrors, pillows, throws, wall décor, and more. Showplace caters to different tastes and budgets with its diverse selection of styles and price points. Some of the popular exhibitors include Abbyson Living Corporation, Ashley Furniture Industries Inc., Bassett Furniture Industries Inc.
