The National Glass Association (NGA) is the trade association for the glass, window and door industries and also an event organizer in the United States. NGA has over 1,000 member companies, including manufacturers, processors, distributors, installers, and service providers. NGA is headquartered in Washington, D.C USA.
NGA’s mission is to “promote, protect, and represent the glass industry.” NGA accomplishes its mission through a variety of activities, including:
Advocacy: NGA advocates for the glass industry at the federal, state, and local levels of government. NGA works to ensure that the industry’s voice is heard on important issues such as energy efficiency standards, safety regulations, and product liability.
Education: NGA provides educational resources and training programs to the glass industry. NGA also publishes a number of technical journals and magazines.
Research: NGA supports research on glass manufacturing, window and door manufacturing, and the latest trends and technologies in the glass industry. NGA also publishes the results of this research in its technical journals and magazines.
Networking: NGA provides opportunities for its members to network and collaborate with each other. NGA also hosts a number of events throughout the year, including the annual GlassBuild America conference and exposition.
