Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC)

Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is an event organizer established in 1966 to promote Hong Kong’s trade in goods and services. Its mission is to create opportunities for Hong Kong companies, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and connect them with business partners around the world.

HKTDC organises more than 320 trade fairs, conferences, missions and networking events every year, attracting over 750,000 exhibitors and buyers from more than 200 countries and regions. These events cover various sectors, such as electronics, fashion, jewellery, toys, food, wine, healthcare, education, creative industries and environmental protection. Some of the flagship events include the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, the Hong Kong Electronics Fair, the Hong Kong Book Fair and the Asian Financial Forum.

HKTDC also plays an active role in promoting Hong Kong as a platform for doing business with China and Asia. It has 13 offices in mainland China and 50 offices around the world, including six bilateral economic and business committees with Japan, the United States, Korea, Europe, France and Taiwan.

It also supports 47 Hong Kong Business Associations in 36 countries and regions with more than 11,000 individual associates. Through these networks, HKTDC facilitates business partnerships and opportunities between Hong Kong companies and overseas counterparts.

HKTDC is committed to developing and expanding new frontiers by exploring, learning and innovating.
